The pairing, as well as the imagery, of the words shadow and fog quite often incites a feeling of uneasiness. As the shadow as well as fog exists to hide or conceal, what is generally unseen is often feared- as it is often believed that if one does see something, it must be an unknown, and therefore react with apprehension. Admittedly, I often embrace the macabre with too much ease, but then again, it is by nature that I find most intriguing what others may shy away from. But why I find shadows and fog to be so fascinating is this: between the shadows and within the fog, here is where one may uncover secretive things where others were too leery to pursue…
